This stately concert march for young bands is written in a style reminiscent of the dignified music often heard performed at a royal procession. An exciting brass intro takes us into the jaunty main melody, which is punctuated by short notes in the low brass and winds, providing harmonic support. The middle section is at the same tempo and features lush harmonies in a three-part legato setting.
