From the pen of the ever-popular Elmer Bernstein, "The Magnificent Seven" is quite possibly the best movie theme, ever, and is sure to be a hit with your band. With driving syncopation and a flowing medley, this Doug Adams arrangement is sure to be a success.
Technical Notes: The tri-toms, quad-toms, and multiple bass drums part is for 4 pitches of drum and it is optional. The electric bass part is written as an optional baritone B.C. part. The optional baritone T.C. and B.C. parts double the tuba.
The "Easy Pops For Marching Band Series" has a unique feature which allows the band director to customize the arrangement to fit incomplete band instrumentation in the lower winds. Each arrangement is published with two lower brass and woodwind parts, #1 and #2, printed in both bass and treble clefs. This allows the band director to assign trombones and tenor saxes to balance the lower brass and woodwind sound. The remainder of the instrumentation is traditional.
