An english horn can be substituted for the 2nd oboe part. The 1st percussion part is marked for snare drum, bass drum, and suspended cymbal. The 2nd percussion part is marked for crash cymbal, triangle, sandpaper blocks, and suspended cymbal. The keyboard percussion part is labled "mallet percussion" in the score. This part is marked for blocks, xylophone, bells and vibraphone.
