Craig Kirchhoff is a well-known and respected conductor, teacher, and clinician. He is currently the professor of conducting, director of bands, and conductor of the symphonic wind ensemble at the University of Minnesota School of Music. Prior to this Kirchhoff was director of bands at Ohio State University for 14 years, where he won numerous awards. You will hear the glorious Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra under his direction on our recording. He brings a unique sound to the group. This wonderful pair performs works by Schuman, Shostakovich, Daugherty, Benson, and Hindemith. Enjoy!
