This handy bassoon swab is designed to help extend the life of your instrument as well as your bassoon's pads. This weighted swab eliminates the unwanted moisture from your instrument. Just place the weight through the bore of the bassoon and pull the absorbent cotton swab through. As it passes through, the swab will absorb excess moisture and remove the build-up from inside your instrument. Continual usage of the swab will add immeasurably to the life of your instrument. Cleaning the swab is easy, as well. Just toss it in the washing machine! This is an accessory that every bassoonist should use regularly.
With your purchase, you'll receive two different-sized swabs: a small swab for your wing joint, and a larger swab for your boot joint.
