Composed for a body of water on the coast of North Carolina, James Hosay captures every beautiful moment of a day spent at Currituck Sound. It is a flowing and somber piece that will just relax ensemble and audience alike. If you close your eyes as you listen you can see the sunrise and set. Musically this work will need special care in the areas of breath support, tone quality, phrasing, and dynamics. The work will teach the ensemble that playing soft and slow is not easy.

To help in the learning process, we have included a demonstration CD of this work. Many other selections are also included to help you choose music for your next concert.
