Let the ants come marching in! Your beginning band will love performing this furious invasion of the ants. With trombone glissandos and numerous percussion effects, Paul Curnow's "Ant Farm" is filled with surprises. Carefully controlled ranges and rhythms keep the music accessible to the beginning band while a few easy accidentals keep the interest alive.
Technical Notes: There is an additional unlisted optional part labelled "Flexible Bass Line" that can be used by electric bass, keyboard or any other bass clef instrument to help supplement the low end of the music. The mallet percussion part calls for bells, the percussion 1 part calls for snare drum and bass drum, and the percussion 2 part calls for triangle, whip, slide whistle, vibraslap and maracas.
