Enjoy this powerful minor key march with your young band. This is a a great opportunity for the beginning group to experience playing a concert style march with big, bold themes. It is scored so that even a relatively small group can sound solid and impressive. The dynamics and articulations give you plenty to teach while the ranges and rhythms stay well within manageable limits for all players. Technical Notes: There is an additional unlisted optional part labelled "Flexible Bass Line" that can be used by electric bass, keyboard or any other bass clef instrument to help supplement the low end of the music. The mallet percussion, timpani and percussion 2 parts are all listed as optional. There are two versions of the percussion 1 part - one of standard difficulty and an optional advanced difficulty version. The mallet percussion part calls for bells, the percussion 1 part calls for snare drum and bass drum, and the percussion 2 part calls for triangle, crash cymbals and suspended cymbal.
