The highly respected composer, Paul Curnow, presents this electrifying selection for your young band. It will be a fantastic teaching tool, with its use of eighth-note triplet rhythms, straight eighths and dotted-eighth/sixteenth rhythms in this exciting performance piece. "Marche Of The Titans" explores the power of the full ensemble and contrasting lighter sections, and demands maximum dynamic contrast. This selection may prove to be the centerpiece of your festival performance this year, and is sure to be effective in any concert! A CD, with performances of this piece and several others, is included with this set.
Technical Notes: There is an additional optional part labelled "Flexible Bass Line" that can be used by electric bass, keyboard or other bass clef instrument. The mallet percussion part calls for bells and xylophone, the percussion 1 part calls for tom tom, bass drum and snare drum, and the percussion 2 part calls for crash cymbal and suspended cymbal.
