"Good Tidings at Christmas (We Wish You A Merry Christmas)" is a majestic, yet cheery arrangement for concert band based on the familiar Christmas tune. This piece contains many great features such as tempo changes, crescendos, dynamic gradations, and style changes that add depth and enhance performance quality. A great closer for any holiday show, this piece wishes the audience "good tiding" in their future endeavors and will be the highlight of the performance.
Technical Notes: There is an additional optional part labelled "Flexible Bass Line" that can be used by electric bass, keyboard or other bass clef instrument. The mallet percussion part calls for bells, the percussion 1 part calls for bass drum and snare drum, and the percussion 2 part calls for triangle, tambourine, sleigh bells, crash cymbal and suspended cymbal.
