Timothy Johnson has written a wonderful solo piece with band accompaniment. The solo part is challenging and will motivate your soloist to practice. The accompaniment part is very rhythmic and full. This work will give your students experience performing with a soloist. Overall the work is very nice and has a lot of nice harmonies and melodies throughout. To help your band and your soloist, we have included a demonstration CD of this work and many others of various difficulties. This CD may also help you in the future when you plan future concerts.
