You will love this glorious arrangement of the 18th century French carol, "Angels We Have Heard On High". Curnow begins this work with a brass fanfare that will be sure to impress your audience. From there the piece flows with the woodwinds carrying the melody. There are some beautiful counter-melodies throughout the work that really fill in the empty space. This would be a fine choice to begin any holiday concert. There are even instructions on how to do a sing-along with the audience. We have also included a demonstration CD for this work. It will let your students hear how the work goes and help them practice. The CD also includes demonstrations of other works. You can use this as a tool to let your students help put together your next concert.
