Based on the spiritual "Rock-A-My Soul", Eric Osterling has skillfully arranged this tune for young players. With the added jazz groove, this saxophone feature is sure to delight both the audience and your band.
Technical Notes: The 1st percussion part is for ride cymbal, snare drum, and bass drum. The 2nd percussion part is for crash cymbals, bike horn, siren whistle, triangle, tambourine and wood block. The oboe, French horn and bells parts are optional. Any one or more the the following instruments will provide an adequate Bass part: B flat bass clarinet, e flat baritone saxophone, trombone/baritone B.C./bassoon, baritone T.C, and tuba.
