Paul Lavender has made this great Beethoven piece into one that your band can play with ease. Beethoven's ninth symphony is also titled "Ode To Joy", and after your audience hears this arrangement, "Joy" will definitely be the right word!
Technical Notes: Any of the E Flat alto clarinet, B Flat bass clarinet, E Flat baritone saxophone, trombone, baritone B.C., bassoon, baritone T.C., or tuba may be used for an adequate bass line. The percussion part is written for snare drum and a bass drum. The keyboard percussion part is written for bells. The trombone, baritone B.C., and bassoon parts are combined into one trombone/baritone/bassoon part.
