Probably the best-known of all the Olympic themes, Paul's solid arrangement is very easy. It only uses 6 notes and nothing faster than a quarter note. This theme will sound great with beginning bands. Remember the Salt Lake City games with this fabulous arrangement.

Technical Notes: This piece is part of the "Essential Elements Band" series and is listed in their "Explorer Level". You may use any one of the E Flat alto clarinet, B Flat bass clarinet, E Flat baritone saxophone, trombone, baritone B.C., bassoon, baritone T.C., or tuba parts for an adequate bass line. The trombone, baritone B.C., and bassoon parts are all combined into one trombone/baritone/bassoon part. The percussion 1 part has parts for snare drum and bass drum. The keyboard percussion part is made for bells.
