The Lieurance Woodwind Quintet has been a resident ensemble of the School of Music at Wichita State University since 1947. All of the members of the quintet serve as faculty members and members of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra. This fine ensemble performs three masterworks for quintet by Nielsen, Klughardt, and Thuille.
