The Northshore Concert Band was founded by John Paynter, and he is the conductor on our CD. Paynter was very influential in the early life and the growth of this ensemble. He started the ensemble as a way to have professionals play newer wind band literature. You will hear this fine ensemble perform four works by Nelhybel, Hopkins, Spears, and Dalby. Each of these works will demonstrate the outstanding musicality of this ensemble. They are very good. Enjoy!
