"Biospheres" by Phillip Lambro is an enriching, mystical composition with an Eastern feel. Many different time signatures are used such as 2/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4 and 7/4 which add to the mystery and diversity. You will feel as if you are being transported to a far away realm when listening to this piece, so sit back, relax and enjoy it.
Technical Notes: The first part is labelled Peking Gong. The second part is labelled crotales, kalimba. The third part is labelled glockenspiel, temple cup bells (kin), Japanese tree bells (orugoru), contra bass marimba, song bells, flapamba, snare drum. The fourth part is labelled vibraphone, Chinese Confucian bells, Pakistan tree bells. The fifth part is labelled Japanese glass and brass wind chimes, clock chime, Thailand gong, Peking gong, timpani, anvil. The sixth part is labelled Japanese ceramic rice bowls, Buddha temple bell (dobachi), piano, bass drum, large suspended cymbal.
