Unlike ordinary swabs that clean only the main bore, The Original H.W. Pad-Saver De-Moisturizer is left inside the instrument when not in use to absorb all that moisture including the damaging moisture that causes the pads to rot and deteriorate. This 2-piece de-moisturizer, one for the flute body and one for the foot, effectively removes the moisture and reduces the need for an expensive re-pad job. It's the most significant instrument care development since the case!
