Vivaldi’s "La Tempesta Di Mare" is a vivid portrait of a great storm, and remains one of the greatest concerti from his classic "Il Cimento Dell' Armonia E Dell" invention. ('The Contest between Harmony and Invention') which illustrated the battle between structured form and harmony, and the opposing forces of creative invention. Albinoni’s wonderful A-major concerto is a beautiful evocation of the Italian Baroque.

This book/CD package consists of a printed music score and a CD which includes two versions of each song from the book. The first version is a complete version with soloist, that you can practice along with. The second version is a full stereo orchestral accompaniment, minus the soloist, that you will use for performances!
