This delightful concerto was written for the coronation for Leopold II in 1790, and performed by Mozart at that occasion in Frankfurt. A lovely atmosphere pervades the work, which is tremendous fun to learn. It is presented now in a digitally remastered, deluxe 2 CD set, including a slow-tempo version for your practicing ease.
This book/CD set includes a printed music score and a compact disc containing a complete version, with soloist, in digital stereo. The second version includes full stereo of the orchestral accompaniment, without the soloist and a second compact disc which contains the complete version of the concerto followed by a 20 percent slow-tempo version of the accompaniment for practice purposes.
