This fantastic new concert work by Otto M. Schwarz is based on the infamous tale of “The Count of Monte Christo”. Set in 1815, a few days before Napoleon invaded France, the story is one of adventure on the high seas, spying, buried treasure and savage revenge. The many emotions in this one fantastic concert work will make this piece a sure winner.

Technical Notes: The mallet percussion 1 part calls for tubular bells, vibraphone, xylophone or marimba and sandpaper, the mallet percussion 2 part calls for glockenspiel, sandpaper and marimba, the percussion 1 part calls for triangle, snare drum, bass drum, sandpaper and anvil, the percussion 2 part calls for suspended cymbal, tam tam, windchimes, tambourine, finger cymbals, sandpaper, and anvil.
