It all began with the "King Kong" movie on 1933, then along came the spectacular remake of the film in 2005. The James Newton Howard music in the new version reflects the sense the power and magnitude of the fabled beast, and it is passed on in this dramatic arrangement for young players. Michael Brown has captured the essence of Howard's unique soundtrack while keeping the technical demands to a minimum.
Technical Notes: The percussion 1 part covers snare drum, bass drum, toms and djembe. The percussion 2 part covers gong, suspended cymbal, crash cymbal, shekere and large shekere. The keyboard percussion part covers bells, xylophone, ganza and chimes.
