Rick James definitely brought this pop chart to life. This will put your band into the hip-hop mood. The piece features the ultimate bass groove in the low brass and low woodwinds. Your trumpet players will love playing the melody line, while the high woodwinds and saxophones jam on a very well written counter-melody. It is a great combo. Paul Murtha has done a great job arranging the wind parts while Will Rapp has done another outstanding job with the very busy percussion parts. It is a great mix for your ensemble today!
Technical Notes: The baritone saxophone, B Flat horn/flugelhorn, electric bass, and auxiliary percussion parts are optional. The baritone BC may be used as trombone 2 part. The multiple bass drums part is for four bass drums.
