Technical Notes: The oboe, French horn and bells (xylophone) parts are optional. The 1st percussion part includes snare drum and bass drum. The 2nd percussion part includes triangle, ship bell, woodblock, ratchet, boat whistle, acme siren and crash cymbals.
Any one or more of the following instruments will provide an adequate bass line: B flat bass clarinet, E flat baritone saxophone, trombone/baritone B.C./bassoon, baritone T.C. or tuba.
