This masterful arrangement of Antonio Carlos Jobim's classic Bossa Nova can be performed either with a vocal soloist (key: F) or as a feature vehicle for tenor saxophone or trumpet. Arranger Frank Mantooth uses a few unique rhythmic figures with mixed meters and gives every section a chance to shine. Also included is an optional scat vocal section that is cued for trumpet.
Technical Notes: A flute can play the tenor saxophone 2 or the alto saxophone 1 part as an optional supplement.
