This folio presents a comprehensive play-along package that includes note-for-note transcriptions and recordings of the legendary licks from the albums by metal monsters Metallica dated between 1983-1988. The transcriptions present every note, in standard notation and tablature, just as Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield played them. There are no vocals on the CD, so it's easy to hear exactly what the instruments are doing. You'll also find slowed down versions of the fast and tricky passages, which make the learning process that much simpler. The detailed performance notes included in the book will give you insightful perspectives on your favorite Metallica songs and help you play them even better. Further, the recordings on the CD are done in split channels, so you can listen to all the instruments or play along with the band.
