The Korg GT-3 is a great automatic guitar and bass tuner. With the all digital display and built in microphone or line input, it is hard not to get an accurate tune. The tuner automatically decides which string you are tuning so you don't have to. It has a 1/4" input, a 1/4" output and a power input jack so you don't have to keep feeding it batteries. And speaking of batteries, it even includes one.
An external microphone makes it easy to tune in noisy environments - even when other people are playing around you. Just clip the microphone onto your instrument and plug it into the input jack on the tuner. If your instrument already has a built in pick up (like an electric guitar), you don't need the microphone, you can just plug directly into the tuner.
