This 1973 rock classic, recorded by the Edgar Winter Group, has been carefully arranged for younger jazz ensembles with reasonable ranges and scored to sound full. Written solos for alto saxophone and/or trumpet have been included, but players may improvise the solos.
The included CD features high quality demonstration tracks so your band can hear "Frankenstein". There are three other tracks of songs in the "Hal Leonard Easy Jazz Ensemble" series, as well as five tracks of songs from the "Hal Leonard Discovery Jazz" series.
Technical Notes: This piece was written for a full jazz ensemble, but is playable with 4 saxophones, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones and a rhythm section. The 2nd tenor saxophone, 4th trumpet, 4th trombone, auxiliary percussion, and guitar parts are optional.
