Even at this easy level, your players can experience playing this classic theme often attributed to Henry Purcell. Stately and full sounding, this arrangement is very easy to prepare with inexperienced bands. A demonstration CD is included with this band set purchase.
Technical Notes: The percussion 1 part is written for concert snare drum and concert bass drum. The percussoin 2 part is written for crash cymbal and tambourine. The keyboard percussion part is written for bells. Any one or more of the following parts will provide and adequate bass line: E Flat alto clarinet, B Flat bass clarinet, E Flat baritone saxophone, Trombone/Baritone/Bassoon, baritone T.C., and/or tuba.
