Woo hoo! What a fun song for your band to perform! "Margaritaville" was originally a Jimmy Buffett selection, but now it can be your band's newest performance number. "Margaritaville" will be lots of fun for you, your band, and your audience.
Technical Notes: The electric bass part is labeled "Electric Bass/Optional Baritone BC (Tuba Double)".
The optional baritone TC part is labeled "Optional Baritone TC (Tuba Double)".
The bells/xylophone part is labeled "Mallet Percussion (Bells/Xylophone)".
The multiple bass drums part is labeled "Tonal Bass Drums (4 Pitch)".
This piece includes 12 B Flat clarinet parts as well as 12 optional B Flat clarinet parts. The B Flat clarinet parts are technically complex in that they are written in the upper octave, have passages that cross the break and feature complicated rhythms for more experienced musicians. The optional B Flat clarinet parts are written below the break and feature simplified rhythms for less experienced musicians.
The "Easy Pops For Marching Band Series" has a unique feature which allows the band director to customize the arrangement to fit incomplete band instrumentation in the lower winds. Each arrangement is published with two lower brass and woodwind parts, #1 and #2, printed in both bass and treble clefs. This allows the band director to assign trombones and tenor saxes to balance the lower brass and woodwind sound.
