Singer-songwriters Amy Ray and Emily Saliers released early self-financed singles, but major-label interest in the literate songs and acoustic guitar performances of their band, The Indigo Girls, was non-existent until the successes of artists like Suzanne Vega and Tracy Chapman. Signed to Columbia records in 1987, their debut LP, "Strange Fire", employed their trademark harmonies and intricate acoustic guitar arrangements.
This matching folio to that debut recording features all 10 songs arranged for piano with vocal and optional guitar chords. Photographs of the Indigo Girls, plus a special guitar section complete this excellent compilation.
