These three books are beautifully illustrated, and a wide variety of songs are included in each of them.

"Recorder From The Beginning, Book One" begins with instructions for holding and blowing the instrument. Several notes are introduced (B, A, G, E and C), along with several musical terms including time signature, quarter note rests, staccato notes, whole notes, tie signs, repeat signs, and more. A variety of simple exercises and songs are presented, as well.
