Marta Ptaszynska is a world renowned female composer. Originally from Poland, Ptaszynska has been living in the U.S. since 1972 and has received many college degrees in her time here and abroad. This arrangement of her piece "Mancala" is direct from Poland. The reasons we have imported this piece from such a distance is because our instructors and directors have found this piece to be the most complete and best transcription of this composition by Ptaszynska.
