This three movement concerto, "Anne-Sophie", was composed by Andre Previn for violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, his soon to be wife. It reflects Previn's early childhood memories of Germany, incorporating a German children's song in the third movement, as well as reflecting his feelings for Mutter. Previn and Mutter recorded a 38 minute CD of this beautiful work in 2003.
