This string adjuster/fine tuner (sometimes called an "E string adjuster") is just what you've been looking for. Easily installed (no tools - only takes seconds) on any violin, a fine tuner will allow you to make subtle adjustments to the tuning (tension) of each string. Here's how it works: You tune your violin normally, using the wood pegs at the head of the violin. After you've gotten the pitch close, then you switch to the fine tuners. (You'll install one of these on all 4 strings, although some people will use a fine tuner just for the E string.) With the fine tuners, you'll get your pitch PERFECT much easier than if you used just the big wood tuning pegs. We highly recommend a full set for all players! (Sold individually - you may want to order 4 of them.)
